Principally a restoration project, this Grade II Listed Georgian Regency Mansion had been subjected to unsympathetic conversions in the 1960's. Typical of the time the property had been fitted out with modern mouldings and flush doors. The restoration succeeded in reinstating the original dimensions of the principle rooms with all details meticulously crafted to match that of the building's original Georgian design.
In addition the 1960's raised basement floor was removed and the concrete floor beneath restored to its original Georgian depth. Full height French doors and a new glass balcony atop an all new garden level conservatory brought much needed natural light into the basement complimenting and completing the restoration works.
