The practice was established in 1982 and maintains its location in Kings Cross, central London. The practice is led by senior chartered architect Stephen Arthurell who is registered with both the ARB and RIBA. The architectural staff he employs provides youthful creativity to compliment his extensive experience. Each project is undertaken as a collaboration within the studio between the architects and other design staff.
A+K continues to successfully foster many architectural students and the collaborative working atmosphere cultivates a positive learning environment. This regularly injects a new and fresh insight into our office and the projects we undertake.
The team enjoy pursuing similar interests outside the office such as taking walking trips in the Lake District and ice skating at the Christmas ice rinks around London.
