An existing public house and restaurant with small nightclub above was totally rebuilt leaving only the front wall and roof.

The client required a high specification interior design as his intention was to compete with the standard of a west end venue. A large basement was excavated for all the services, kitchen prep room, stores and toilets. This necessitated piling each side to hold up the adjacent buildings, of which A+K co ordinated.

The proposed structure had to be free of internal columns and incorporated voids and coifers to amphasise the tight headroom. A+K acted as lead consultant and worked closely with Idiom Design, who were the interior designers and we assisted in co ordinating the construction works and the interior fit out, finishes and concept.
