This building, originally the old council offices in Sandwich, had been extended and used by Pfizer as a nursery for many years. When the company left the area, the building was developed into 10 flats. A+K undertook the design and layouts for these flats along with site landscaping drawings. A+K secured planning permission and building control approval for the scheme.
The flat layouts utilised the unusual layout of the existing building to maximise usable space and create luxury spacious dwellings.

The triple height space of the old council chamber was cleverly used to insert mezzanine floors within two flats to provide upstairs living accommodation with far reaching views across the local countryside.
